- Birth certificate of the Bride and Groom
- Valid passports of the Bride and Groom, and copies passports of two witnesses
- Original Decree Absolute, if either has been married before
- Death Certificate, if either is widowed
- Affidavits of the Bride and Groom, which is a certificate that states that you are single, divorced, or widowed. This document is only valid for 6 months, so you need to make sure to get the certificate ready within 6 months prior to your wedding.
- Parental consent, if you are under 18 years old
- Adoption Certificate, if either is adopted
- Deed Pole Certificate, if either has changed name 

There are two types of wedding that you can choose; a civil ceremony, which is performed by a Marriage Office, or a church ceremony. All of the documents have to be presented to the Town Hall, so make sure that you arrive in Cyprus at least five days before the wedding day.
